Joint Project Wins First Prize in 2023 Shanxi Science and Technology Awards

In accordance with the "Shanxi Provincial Science and Technology Award Regulations" and the "Detailed Rules for the Implementation of Shanxi Provincial Science and Technology Award Regulations," the 2023 Shanxi Science and Technology Awards underwent formal review, public announcement of formal review results, discipline (professional) group evaluation, and evaluation committee evaluation (comprehensive evaluation committee evaluation). A total of 201 projects (enterprises) passed the evaluation committee's assessment, including 2 special prizes, 35 first prizes (including 1 science and technology cooperation prize), 158 second prizes (including 1 science and technology cooperation prize), and 6 enterprise technological innovation awards.

Our company, together with Taiyuan University of Technology, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Shanghai Shengyi Environmental Technology Co., Ltd., Hubei Geology and Mineral Construction Engineering Contracting Group Co., Ltd., Zhejiang University, and Fuzhou University, was awarded the First Prize for Technological Progress for the project "Theory of Multi-field Coupled Transport in Contaminated Sites and Key Technologies and Applications of Anti-pollution Barriers." Our company's GCL products and GCL Composite Vertical Barrier Technology were involved in the evaluation for this award.

These products can meet the diverse needs of customers and are applied in various fields including waterproofing and anti-seepage in landfills, petrochemical industries, tailings treatment, highway tunnels, water conservancy landscape rivers, and environmental restoration.


Our company possesses professional construction qualifications and mainly undertakes projects related to polluted site management and control, landfill construction, mine environmental restoration, watershed ecological restoration, and water conservancy anti-seepage. Currently, our business covers most areas of the country. The GCL Composite Vertical Barrier Technology is a self-developed technology by our company. It is a new composite vertical anti-seepage technology composed of GCL composite components and low-permeability walls. The low-permeability walls initially block and adsorb pollutants, while the GCL enhances the overall anti-seepage performance. The multi-layer structure coordinates with each other, addressing the shortcomings of existing vertical anti-seepage technologies, such as low anti-seepage grades and easy leakage at joints, making it capable of handling complex polluted environments.
