TMAT ® Heavy Duty GCL is an impermeable covering material made by sewing GCL, sand, and geotextile non-woven fabric. GCL permeability coefficient ≤ 5 × 10-9cm/s has good barrier performance and can effectively isolate upper water bodies from bottom pollutants. According to the treatment target and pollutant type, granular or powder GCL can be selected. GCL weight ≥ 4500g/m2, GCL sand coverage ≥ 10kg/m2, greatly increasing the specific gravity of the material.

On the one hand, it is beneficial for construction and ensures that the coil sinks smoothly to the bottom of the river during the laying process. On the other hand, sand is also a commonly used filtering and isolation material, which can further purify water bodies. The sand is covered with polyester or polypropylene non-woven fabric with a weight greater than 200g/m2, and can be effectively fixed between GCL and non-woven fabric through stitching process. The upper non-woven fabric can effectively prevent sand loss and improve the material's erosion resistance.
